Question How to explore the sheets in the workbook

    Hello,

Please I am working with MS Excel 2007, and the workbook includes more then 15 or up to 20 sheets, and I have more then work book with this way, so when I want to jump from one sheet to another to enter data or to acquire data (and it happened a lot of time in a daily base) I've to brows with the normal way which make a mess and sometimes lead to enter wrong data in the wrong sheet or at least slow down my performance.

So what I am thinking about is if there is any way to explore the existing sheets in the same workbook (while it is opened of-course) like we used to do with firefox browser when you open the drop down list in the left or in the right of the browser to know the current opened tabs and move from one to another.

I hope if there is any way to do this or to have something close to this to do this job.

    Thanks

Yes. To the left of the tabs of the worksheet, you see the navigation arrows. something like

    |< < > >|

If you right click in that section, a list of all sheets in the workbook pops up and you can select the one you want to go to.

    Please one more thing.

When I do explore the sheets I found at the bottom More Sheets so I can click on it and scroll, so what I want to say does there is any option to list all sheets in the window when I right click directly instead of hit the more sheets option!?

    Thanks

No, the drop down has a limit. I forget momentarily how much, but if you see the "More ..." command, count the visible tabs and you have the number.

Talking Re: How to explore the sheets in the workbook

This might be a late reply but just want to add that I've found a utility titled asap-utility for Excel97-2007 and one of its functions is to create an index sheet for the included sheets in the same work book with hyperlinks for all the sheets.

    -Later edit-
The tool is free to download

ASAP is cool when you first look at it, but it is not necessary.
