Hi, I have just been giving a task to do on excel and as I have never used it before I am very confused. I am trying to work from an excel guide book I got and some google tutorials I can find. Basically my task is to make a worksheet listing all of the counties in Ireland and each of their populations.
After I find this data, I am to copy it to an excel spreadsheet, then I have to find things like the capital of each county and the area of each (need to use a formula for this).

I am just a bit confused where to start. I am trying to copy the data I found on wikipedia in to excel but it will now allow me to select just the data and when I try and import it, it imports the whole page of text.
Would really appreciate any tips or pointers.
