    Using SumIf

    Hey people, Im currently stuck on a major excel question and i have spent the last 3 days working it out and still cant work it out.
    please help me.
    The whole file has been uploaded to megaupload if the pics dont help ya.

    The question is this:
    On the Sales sheet, using formulas display the sales $ for each type of stock (beer, Coffee, Muffin etc etc) for each month in the lower table using sumif.

    Please help me

    Just add NAME in Pivot table below TYPE.

    Is this it?

    Hi rockamania,

    Couldn't tell how far down the list goes on your "Stock" sheet, so you'll need to adjust the ranges as required (change the 30 to the last used row number), but use these formulae as described:

    In cell B25 paste this formula:

    In cell C25 paste this formula:

    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    In cell D25 paste this formula:

    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    In cell E25 paste this formula:

    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    Once pasted, highlite these four cells, and autofill them down to row 37.
