    Sumif

    Hi all,
can anyone tell me if there is a different way to calculate this formula?

    =SUMIF(S:S,">10000",Q:Q)-AA17-AA16-AA15-AA14-AA13-AA12

instead of using ">10000" when i use a cell reference it does not recognise the value in the cell.
also, there are several other cells that have the same formula ie -AA16-AA15-AA14-AA13-AA12
i am deducting the results from these cells that are already calculated to get the correct total of cell values that have only 10000 in this formula example.
i hope that i am explaining ok..
Any help would be very much appreciated..
    thanks

    Hi,

Can you clarify exactly what you mean. If it returns a number 304 which represents days, what month do you expect that to be? Month 10 - October? If you're starting at 1st Janary then one way is:

    sorry for the bad explanation..
i meant that this forula won't work and gives the wrong results...
    =SUMIF(S:S,">"&Y41,Q:Q)-SUM(AB33:AB40)/304
i managed to do it now but using a different cell range.. but thanks for all your help anyway.

display specific values in a different worksheet?

I now have a completely different problem...
i have a list of names and values in one worksheet and i want to display them in a different worksheet only if the value is more than what is specified.
I have this formula =IF(List!S6>List!Y$12,List!O6,0) which works for cell, but it is dependant on the row and i have more than 16000 rows with names and values..
do i need to use macro's for this. if so, i will be pritty much lost..!
if you can help it would be great...
    thanks
