    Re: Modifier based sum

    Hi Janbi. Two questions:

    1) What game is this for?
    2) Changing C6 to YES is supposed to change what other formulas?

    If necessary, show two versions of the sheet in question...one showing value with YES in C6, the other showing the desired values when C6 is NO. Highlight the cells in question if not obvious.

    We can probably help with good examples.

    Rather upload workbook than screenshot.

    Please find attached example worksheets explaining and highlighting the desired effect I am trying to achieve.

    Hope it makes sense.

    I think your question would have been answered a long time ago if anyone know what you were trying to do, Janbi.

    Re: Modifier based sum

    Ok, here is exactly what I am trying to achieve.

    Based on the spreadsheet I posted here;

    If C5 = NO then F4 only gathers the number from Anuhart!J58 However if C5 = YES it calculates Anuhart!J58 and Anuhart!B65.

    Re: Modifier based sum

    Based on exactly the information on your last post,

    In F4: Anuhart!J58 + If(C5 = "YES", Anuhart!B65, 0)
