Hello all,
I have an interesting problem that i have had no luck sourcing a solution to on the web or via searching this forum, any advice or suggested avenues of investigation would be greatly appreciated.
Please excuse the fact that this is my 1st post and I’m looking for help, my usual Exel goddess / guru is away and I’m at a loss find a fix for.
The Environment:
I have a number of staff using exel 2007 in an XP Pro OS, on a Panasonic Toughbook CF-18 (digitiser model) in portrait mode.
The staff use a pen devise to select fields, choose drop down options or enter data (numeric mostly, some small portion of text information) the digitiser pen was opted for as it allows the user to scroll down a drop down list, each item is highlighted till you click the target selection and the option selected
The Problem:
Where a sheet extends beyond the size of the screen the scroll bar is used to navigate up and down the sheet. My problem is that the scroll bar is to narrow and it is at times difficult to select with the stylus pen and scroll down the document.
I have disabled the horizontal scroll bar in the exel options tab off the ORB drop down as it is not needed and would sometimes be clicked and wizz the sheet off the visible screen area (the horizontal scroll bar can have its width affected)
Is there any way to affect the width of the VERTICLE scroll bar?
Happy to use reg edit or any preference setting or solution to keep my workers happy
Thanks in advance
Cheers
