Excel 2007 : linking Values

I am linking data between files, I need to know how to demonstrate data from one cell on one workbook to another. So far the formula to show the data i have is as follows and I am getting a ref error because I have a password protecting the document. Is there a way to include the password in the formula to grant read access to the worksheet that needs to view data from the other worksheet?

=value('\\Vhabynclu1\centralizedscheduling\Schedulers\Schneider April\[Schneider, April.xlsx]October 2009'!$I$170)
