Hi all,
I was e-mailed an excel document which i opened up and can use without any problems on my laptop.

I then copied it onto my memory stick and tried to use it on my desktop computer but everytime i try to change some information in a cell it asks for a password

I thought the document must be corrupt on my memory stick but if i connect it to my laptop i can change information in the document no problem.

I can open and use other excel documents on my desktop ok and have even reinstalled office on the desktop but still have same problem.

Both computers have the same office software installed but the laptop is Vista and the desktop is XP (if this makes any difference).

Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem may be because it dosn't make sence to me
