    Question Calculating Quarter Start Dates

    Hello,

    I have been looking around trying to find a formula that will calculate a specific quarter's start date. For example, for date 8/10/09, the result would be 7/01/09. I found a formula to calculate the end date of the quarter, but not the start date. Is there anyway I can calculate this?

    Perhaps

    =DATE(YEAR(A1),FLOOR(MONTH(A1)-1,3)+1,1)

    where A1 is date
