Use dropdown list only when another cell matches criteria

Hi,

I'd like to use dropdown list in a column but I also want to combine it with criteria that if A1="true" then gives error.

So, If A1<>"true", then allow dropdown list, but if A1="true" it gives error message.

can anyone help me?

Hi Zoli,

Something like this? Cells F1 to F12 contain the list that you want to appear in the drop down; set A1 to be True or not True, then run this macro

Cells C1 to C5 will have a drop down only if A1 is not true.
