    Telling excel a cell equals another cell on a worksheet

    Hello!

    I'm trying to link data that is located on one spreadsheet and equal that to other information located in a different worksheet within the same file.

    Please see HPRP A Vital stats in E,F,G 12
    I want to have the inforamtion from the spreadsheet Staff - Client Pre Screening in cell D,E,F,G 12.

    I tried the = function, but it is not working. Any ideas? Please see the attached.

    You are using merged cells which can cause heart-aches...

    When you enter = and point to a merged cell, the entire merged range is referenced...giving you an error...

    you need to remove the :G12 from the range

    i.e. ='STAFF - CLIENT PRE-SCREENING'!D12
    Where there is a will there are many ways.
