Unhappy Text Box Editing in Protected Sheet.

I have a text box in a protected sheet which i wish to fill with differnet lines of text but i'm unable to press enter when in the text box. The cell selection jumps back out onto the sheet.

    Any help would be grateful.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

unprotect the sheet, then select the textbox and open its format dialog. On the Protection tab, unselect the options "locked" and "lock text". Now protect your sheet again. You should be able to select the text box and add text, hit enter for a new line, etc. ...

Tried it, sorry it didn't work. Still cannot press enter without it jumping back to another cell on the sheet. Also leaving the textbox unlocked means it can be selected and moved aorund the sheet.

    Thanks for replying.

    Any other ideas, please.

In properties set the EnterKeyBehavior to TRUE and MultiLine to TRUE
(right click the textbox -> Properties)
Looking for great solutions but hate waiting?
