Excel 2007 : Fails to import text from another workbook

I have 2 workbooks.

"Workbook A" gets data entered on it's "Input sheet"

"Workbook B" imports the data from "Workbook A" / "Input sheet"

I use 2007

I used the "data' tab & went to "From Other Sources" then picked "From XML data import"

It works except it doesn't import all of the cells with just text in them. Numbers seem to always transfer over and it seems real "hit and miss" on what cells that have text are imported.

What could I be missing?

Both files are macro emabled.
