Help nesting "Indirect" references into formulas

Using a combination of "Cell" and "Indirect" commands, I can get cell-references (the name, like "A1"), but I can't figure out how to actually DO anything with them.

I keep trying to nest them inside of formulas, but I just can't get it to work.

I've attached a sample workbook - there are two tabs.

    Thanks in advance.

Think of it in terms of building a string equivalent to what you'd do if you were entering the formula directly:

    =SUM(INDIRECT("'Workbook 2'!"&B2&":"&B3))

    In B5:

    =SUM(INDIRECT("'Workbook 2'!" & B2 & ":" & B3))

Ahh, I kept thinking that the "referring" cells would automatically know to refer to the worksheet/book, not just the cell names themselves.

Thanks a lot, just what I needed.
