Counting Cells until a certain point?

Hi there,

I haven't really searched for this as i don't know how to describe it, so sory if its been posted before.

basdically i'm looking to count a certain amount of cells starting below one word until reaching another word. I'll try and explain below

Cell A1: Start Here
Cell A2: Bob
Cell A3: Dave
Cell A4: Ends Here

So if i had the right formula it should return '2' as i just want to count the cells after 'Start Here' and before 'Ends Here' appears.

Am i asking too much??
