    Look through the Data Validation setup window, there are multiple tabs. Go to the tab called Error Alerts and uncheck the box at the top, this will tell Excel not to stop you when you enter a value not in the cell. There are more options in there, too.


    Also, Tex, be sure to read through the Forum Rules so you can use and follow them effectively. For instance, you'll need to edit that post above make change your title so it isn't personalized like that. It should describe the Excel topic, not your state of mind.

    The best titles come right out of your message content, so write your titles last. "Enter values in Data Validated cell and not get an error message"
