Graphs in sheets distorted in size

I can't figure this problem out: whenever I switch from a sheet that has a few graphs on it and then switch back to it, the graphs appear much larger than they were before. I have to zoom out and then zoom back in to restore their size to proper dimensions. Is there a setting that I need to switch or another way to resolve this? It's very frustrating. Thanks.

care to tell us what Excel version you're using? Maybe upload an example to see if the problem can be reproduced?

I am using Microsoft Excel 2007. I can't really upload an example since it's a pretty big and complicated file - but I imagine it's an issue that others have encountered before...or at least I hope so. Thanks,
