Hi Friends,
My Client is using MS Excel home & office.
He is facing with a problem of relative cell referencing.
When he puts a formula in B1 (For Eg:- "=A1") then when he drags the formula row wise downwards then formula in B2 must be "=A2". But still it is "=A1".
Does anyone knows the solution for this.

Do you actually see =A1 in the cell or a result of the formula?
Where there is a will there are many ways.

I see the result in the cell.. however in the formula bar i see A1
Possible to attach sample file so we can see what's going on?
actually its working fine on my machine.. but it is not working fine on my clients machine..
and i dont have the sample file with me right now..
Are you sure it's not just the results...that look repeated...
i.e. if you press F9, does it change anything?
i'll definately try..
also i have mailed my client to send the excel file which i'll post once i get it..
are there any other modifications that needs to be done and that you can think of instantly..

Not really.. until I see file.. if F9 works, then you probably need to check Tools|Options and in Calculation tab should be set to Automatic calculations...
Was there a solution to this, and if so, please explain.
