Categorizing Hours Worked

I am making a time sheet and need to split each shift into 3 catorgories.

Hours worked before 6am
Hours worked between 6am and 6pm
Hours worked after 6pm

I am having the most difficulty with employees who start at 11pm and end the next day at 2 pm.

I suggest you choose one of the hundreds of templates you will find if you Google excel timesheet template, adapt it generally to your requirements, and then post back when you're ready for some specific help.

Or if you do already have something in place but are struggling with creating the requisite formulae post up a sample of your file which includes some dummy shift data and outline desired results.
