    printing on rear of page

Is it possible to print on the back of printed pages, I.e if I print a time sheet can I automatically print a standard set of instructions on the rear of every page without copying and pasting in to even page numbers.

Ps my printer will print both sides

    Cheers

    Hi,

can you explain a bit more how your data is laid out? Like, is there more than one time sheet in the workbook? Are the instructions on the same sheet as the time sheet or on a different tab? Do you print one sheet at a time or several time sheets at once?

There are several ways to tackle this, but it depends on how your workbook is set up.

If you have a time sheet on each excel sheet, you could have the instructions on a different sheet, let's call it Instructions. Then, on each time sheet tab, where the second page would start, use a reference to the instructions, like

    =Instructions!A1

copy right and down to suit

Then set the print area for each sheet to include the time sheet and the instructions area. This way you'd only have to type the instructions once, and every time you need to change them, just change the Instructions sheet and it will propagate to the time sheets.

    does that help?

Martin, the simple solutions are often the best ones!

Alternative: print a stack of instructions only, keep it in a box next to the company letterhead and use this specially prepared paper to print time sheets only (on the white, unprinted side)
