MS Excel - Conditional formatting - Maybe(?)

    Hello,

I do not know if this can be done, but I have an excel spreadsheet. I want to add a visual aid to help remind users to fill everything in

    Column

    -----A----------B---------C-----
    1---123-------Blank------123----
    2---Blank------123------Blank----

    Sorry for the above.

Basically, if a user enters a value(numbers) in Column A and row whatever, and doesn't enter anything in Column C the Value(numbers) in Column A goes Red and if they enter a value(numbers) in Column C then it goes Green..

So If the cells and rows change I would change the A1 and C1?

    Awesome That worked sweet.

Now what if I wanted to do this

    ------A-------B---------C--------D-----
    1---Blank----Blank-----123------Blank---
    2---123------123------Blank-----Blank--
    3---123------124------Blank-----Blank--

If a user doesn't enter data into Column A, it turns red and when data is entered into B,C or D it goes clear again and also if the sum of B,C,D is equal to A

So like a dual conditional formatting
