Merging Documents

I have a excel, 2004 workbook with a master list of names using columns for first name, last name and 4 additional columns of data.

I have a second spreadsheet with a smaller list of names, all of which are on the original master list, with 4 columns of different data from the master list.

What I would like to do is combine the smaller list with the master list so that the matching names would merge and display the data from both spreadsheets while the unlike names would remain the same.

Any help would be great, thanks in advance.
