Yes, I have(had) already installed SP2.
Other ideas?
Post the workbook, sanitized as necessary.
Entia non sunt multiplicanda sine necessitate
ok, no macros, fairly plain.
Thanks!
Very strange. Opens fine in 2003, not fine in 2007. I played with it, but have no suggestions. Perhaps Andy will teach us both something.
The problem is related to the blank column of information between category labels tand the first series.
If you enter information in there you will get the expected multi-level labels. Clear those cells and the axis becomes confused upon re-openning.
That said there is something different about your chart to the one I created.
If you check the Select Data for your chart there is no overall range references.
Where as my chart the overall range of ='Summary Table'!$B$5:$F$11
appears and the axis does not have a problem. Even with empty column C.
How exactly did you construct the chart?
Do you really need the empty column C?
Brilliant! Fixed. Column C was not necessary.
One question, is it possible to remove that file that I submitted or is it your policy to leave it so people can fully follow the thread?
Thanks so much!!
