    Conditional Format Conflict (I think)

I've set up a list table using format hh:mm, ranging from 00:00 to 00:10

And set up conditional format, ie "less than or equal to" =a1, format red, Say a1 is 00:05 and works fine. Highlights all cells equal or less than 00:05.

But when I add a second condition, greater than or equal to same cell, it does not work. I'm guessing it's a conflict it does not like.

Not sure if there is an actual calculation that would work better within conditional format rather than the built in options ?.

    Cheers,

    Daywalker.

With the cell exactly equal to A1 and the two conditions given as stated, what would resulting format since both are true? Try modifying the second condition to just greater than...

It works, but had to stipulate the cell colour to change to black.

So anything now equal too or less than will be red, and anything above black.

    Great, thanks for that.

It should work. Check to make sure you do not have quotation marks around your cell ids in the conditional formatting. Can you upload an example spreadsheet showing what you are trying to achieve? See this example.
