    fixing date formats

Hi all, trying to fix several rows (800+) date field cells. It was in the format of
23/Nov/07 but wasn't recognized, so I tried 23-Nov-07, still no luck. The only way I've been able to change it is to manually type it in. Is there an easier way to change the various dates that are like this easier than manually changing each cell?

If you highlight the column of dates and run Data -> Text to Columns -> click Finish at Step 1 - do they revert to dates then ?

Given you're based in Canada you may need to proceed to Step 3 and set Column Format to Date choose option DMY and click Finish
