Question Pivot Table - Hide Columns with No Data?

    Hi People,

This will be an easy one I suspect:

How can I hide a (data) column in a pivot table which contains no data?

I have attached a sample file. On the Pivot sheet - Column H, which is Sum of Pay Type 6, contains no data - how can I hide this?

    Muchas gracias

Click on the drop down arrow next to Data and deselect Pay Type 6.

Re: Pivot Table - Hide Columns with No Data?

Sorry my fault - I should have explained myself better - I want to be able to auto-hide the column, only if the column contains no data. E.g. I will be regularly importing new data into the source sheet, and then refreshing the Pivot Table - sometimes there will be data present in the aforementioned column, sometimes not - I want Excel to auto-hide it only if no data is present. Surely there must be a way to do this? Thanks
