Lock cells together and rank rows

Basically I have recently started my own personal music chart and I'm having problems with a Year To Date page.

Basically all I want to know how to do is how to lock some cells together and rank many rows of those cells with 1 column where the total is?

I have attached the spreadsheet as a zip files as I was having problems uploading it as a xls file.

If anybody could help I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks

    Better, thanks.

I don't know what you mean about 'locking cells together'

To attach a workbook, scroll down to the Manage Attachment button in the reply window, or push the button with the paperclip.

I've attached it as a zip file now.

I can rank a column of cells but that just changes that column around but what I want to know how to do is attach different cells together so that when the YTD totals move around everything else related with that cell moves around with it, like the last weeks position column, the song and artist column and the chart run columns.

I looked at your workbook and couldn't see what you were trying to do.

Okay I don't know why I attached a spreadsheet with no info on.

    I'll attach another one.

What I want to do is rank the rows using the amount of points from highest to lowest but with that I want to keep the artists, LW, songs and chart run columns with the related total amounts of points.

I hope you can understand it a bit more now.
