Kindly amend this formula

Hi!

can someone help me with this formula:

=MID(A1,FIND("$",A1)+1,FIND(" ",MID(A1,FIND("$",A1),255))-3)*IF(OR(ISNUMBER(FIND("-",A1)),ISNUMBER(FIND("(",A1))),-1,1)


NVBC gave me this formula to extract the amount between the text and the date, i thought it was working perfectly 'till i noticed some of the problems.

I attached the sample of the problem.
