Can Excel Splits be Independent of Each Other?

    Using: Excel 2003

I was wondering if there is a way to split an excel workbook, but not have each split mirror the other.

For example, if you look at the attached spreadsheet, I split it at row 19. Now when I type in A1 in the top split, the same words go into A1 in the bottom split.

I basically want the bottom split to be it’s own sheet, I want the top and bottom split to be independent of each other, each with their own vertical and horizontal scroll bars.

    Is this at all possible?

    Thanks.
