    Copying without the quote symbol

    Hi all,

    I encounter this funny problem, I dont know why when i copy a value from the cell which appear in notepad as "value123" but the actually vaule in the formulas bar is ->value123<- anyway to fix this??

    If you import the values by opening the text file from within XL / or via Data from Text you should find you have the option in Step 2 to set Text Qualifier to none (by default it will be ") ... at which points your values should be pasted as intended.
