Need help with TMP Excel files

    Hi,
I have this problem when I save any Excel file it created a TMP file that will NOT delete (disappear) when I close the Excel file I saved.
Normally, when you save an Excel file you are working on and it is open there is a TMP file created that will disappear once you close your saved file.

The problem I have is that every time I save the file I work on (Ctrl+S) new file is created and all of them will stay after I close the Excel file I work on.
All these TMP files will be created at the same folder of the file I was working on.

If you have any idea why it happens and how do I change it back to be “normal”, please let me know.

    THANKS!!

Re: Need help with TMP Excel files

Thank you so much for the help.
I read the info at the link you sent me and it is probably good for TM (Trend Micro) previous version.
I looked in the application I have (their last version) and there is no where I could find where I can remove the Excel option from the threat list (by the way, I noticed it happens also with my PPT files).
No doubt now this is a configuration, and actually it makes sense that it has something to do with the anti virus, because it started happening just after I upgraded TM version a week ago or so.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks again!
    Aharon
