    Re: Average help

Excel is perfectly capable of handling basic averaging, even of entire columns of data.

    =AVERAGE(E:E)

    =AVERAGE(E1:E4361)

You can press F1 in Excel and enter a keyword or two when you're looking for a new function, Excel will offer many suggestions and tutorial on how to use them.

    Re: Average help

Excel can certainly AVERAGE much more than 4361 cells. Are all of these cells in a single column? Are they within a congruent range (e.g. within 1 area) or non-congruent columns?
As an example, lets say the pricing is in Columns B, C and D, from rows 2 to 2000.

    or if it's in Columns B, E, and G from row 2 to 2000

    Does that help?
