Naw... that's getting a little to deep for me.
What I want is to copy and paste the HTML from "My Maps" in Google Maps and paste into a frame in Excel.
Here's the HTML copied from My Maps...
<iframe width="300" height="300" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&ie=UTF8&msa=0&msid=107192255779177320635.00046fcafa1a71d8e903a&safe=on&ll=32.713355,-93.88916&spn=5.544965,6.591797&z=6&output=embed"></iframe><br /><small>View <a href="http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&ie=UTF8&msa=0&msid=107192255779177320635.00046fcafa1a71d8e903a&safe=on&ll=32.713355,-93.88916&spn=5.544965,6.591797&z=6&source=embed" style="color:#0000FF;text-align:left">055 - Goodyear G3X</a> in a larger map</small>
Is there a way to have it display in Excel? That way when I add locations in "My Map" it's live in Excel (as long as you're connected to the internet)?
what if you create a web query.
Tools > Import External Data > New web Query...
Try using a web browser control on the worksheet.
You will need to use a little code to wrap the html in a file before loading.
Search forum for Marquee. As this uses a similar approach for scrolling text on a worksheet.
