I posted this question and I am still a bit unclear as to how to go about enabling this functionality.

We need to restict users to view specific cells in a spreadsheet and each time that a user opens a spreadsheet it should possibly run a code and display different cells depending on who is opening the spreadsheet.

The research I have done around this seems to indicate that perhaps I could password enable certain cells and show/hide cells depending on the password that is entered.

I would really appreciate it if someone could assist me.

I have to remind you that any user can choose to not enable macros, so don't be lulled into a false sense of security about users not being able to gain access to "hidden" cells (though you can make it difficult to do so).
