    Drop-down list Feature Inquiries

1.) If I have 15 items in a list (Data Validation), the drop-down window itself is only long enough to show 5 or so items and so, using my mouse, I have to click and drag the scroll bar to scroll down the list. I can't even using my mouse scroll wheel. Its almost counter productive and defeats the purpose of convenience for my needs. Is there any way to increase the size of the drop down window to display the whole list, or at least more of the list? I am not asking about font sizes, nor am I asking about how to expand the source items included for the list.

2.) Is there a way to make it where the cell with the drop-down list will predict and auto populate information As you're typing in that cell?
    W. . .
We. . . Fills in with "Wedding" since "Wedding" is the only item in the list that matches "W" or "We"

I feel like this should be very possible since, by default, a work sheet will predict and auto populate information as you're typing in a cell, if matching information has already been entered within the column you're typing in. I just can't seem to figure it out.

Your time and Any feedback regarding any of this will be deeply appreciated!

    Re: Drop-down list Feature Inquiries

    The simple answer is No.

There have been numerous posts on this forum asking the same question.

However if you are allowed VBA macros there is a workaround.

    Welcome to the forum

Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
