    Single template solution

    We're trying to use one template to enter data with users being able to start entry from a number of different starting points. this changes they way the look-ups have to work. The attached sample explains it a whole lot better.

    Grateful for any ideas.

    well you could past an index match into col b
    if dropdown used formula is overwritten so new users would be ok
    turn of the error alert col c to allow manual entry. then if experienced user types in a number cols b and d would populate
