I have a spreadsheet at working using excel 2003. The spreadsheet has one form, a pivot table. and a data sheet. the form stores the information to the data sheet. The data is 6 columns and 1000 rows and contains names, dates and numbers, nothing to fancy.

To reproduce the error I go to the data sheet, then press and hold the up or down arrow key to move through the rows of data. When I get to certain rows the CPU usage spikes to 100%. The file then lags to the point its almost unworkable. If you stop the CPU drops but if you start trying to do anything with the sheet it jumps back to 100%. If you move away from those rows then you can move normally. The data is similar in all the rows.

This happens on different computers and with different versions of excel. I cant figure out what this could be. Any ideas?
