    Default function in Pivot Tables

My pivot tables have a default function of "Count" and I want it changed to "Sum". Is there any way, this can be done? Thanks

I don't think there is a "default" setting per se. Depending on the data type being either numeric or text, the PT will generally default to summing numbers and counting text.

To change how the field is calculated, right click on the field in the PT and choose "Field Setting". In the resultant dialog, make a choice under the "Summarize By" section.

Please fill out your Excel version in your profile.

I have numeric data and still the default setting is "count". I have done as suggested, but I have 365 columns and changing each one from "count" to "sum" is very time consuming.
