    conditional formatting - show expired date

    I have a column that shows insurance expiry dates, how do I highligh them automatically from the day they expire?

    under conditional formatting use the following (assuming that the date is in Cell D2)

    Change condition 1 to: Formula Is

    then enter

    = D2 < TODAY()

    Click the Format button and change the font color to Red (or whatever you like) and click OK
