    Dear windknife,

This is not what Im trying to do, I need only the certain file name of the spreadsheet. Your formula gave me the whole path of the file. Thanks anyway

    Dear windknife,

Yes your formula works... however there is one more thing that I want to remove. There is an .xls after the name, it is possible to remove this file extension. Thanks again for your help

    Dear windknife

The file name is not complete. The 6 characters are missing with this formula.
