Extact and compate multiple dates in one cell.

Hi guys I'm really loving this forum, Been her 5 minutes and already had a problem resolved. This one is tricky, I'm thinking impossible.

I am trying to extract and compare data in one cell or Column of cells.

Each cell in this column has the following or similar data.

"UH X4 - 314657 R01 22/02/09 - 314972 R09 03/05/09 - 315627 R01 09/06/09 - 315932 R09 25/06/09"

I have a column full of cells like this. The dates in these cells are job dates what i need to do is compare the dates in the cell and if any dates are 4 weeks apart or less, pull all the fields from that cell's row and paste it into another sheet in another workbook.

Now at this point I'm not sure it's even possible but if you guys fancy some fun, let me know if you can help. even if you confirm it can't be done I just need to see if it's possible.

One note about the cell I'm getting this data from
it cant be changed as it's used company wide for other things, it cant be extended across multiple cells either. basically I cant change this reporting spreadsheet or any data in it in any way i might get away with changing the way the date format is.

Hi, should be possible with VBA. These functions could be useful: Split, IsDate and DateDiff.
