    condition format

    Hi

I have created a dropdown list on sheet 1 and the data is saved on sheet 2 all is working fine, the data is a list of regular employees which I choose from the dropdown list. However I also enter manually overtime staff in the cell. My question is haw can I highlight say by colour any names entered into the cell that are not in the data for the drop down list

    Thanks

    Your original comment:

    You said you meant this:
oops I was in quick reply in my comment it should say if I enter someone not in the name list it should change colour.
I don't see any difference in these statements.
At any rate, the example I provided does what you ask. On Sheet2, "Tom" is highlighted because his name is not in the name list, whereas "Bob" and "Sue" are not highlighted because their names are.

Perhaps you should explain more clearly if this doesn't answer your question.
