    Having a Column always visible

I was just wondering if it's possible to have one column always visible.

I.E. I want to be able to scroll to the right to but always have column A on the very left side of the screen.

Let me know if I need to explain better.

Also I am wondering, can I make excel tell me where it got the dara from. I have a cell that is looking for the minimum value from 3 other cells, it then displays the minimum value, but I would like it to tell me the name of the cell it got the data from. I.E. Instead of it saying 'minimum is 30,000' I want it to say "cell D3 has the minimum value"

Also I was wondering if it's possible, or if there is a program that can read a text file, look for data in certain areas, and then take the data from the file and put it into excel in certain spots.

Also is it possible to tell excel that every time it sees a certain value, i.e. every place it sees the number 12440 in column B, make it change it / show it as Market - Jita

On a side note, if anyone who is pretty good with excel and also has ventrilo and would like to sit down for a few minutes with me, I'd love to chat. I guess I should explain what I am trying to do.
I play a game called Eve, it has a market, with items and prices fluctuating very often. I can take a snap shot of the item and price in game and export it to a text file very easily. I can then have excel open that file and convert it into a fairly easily readable format. What I want to do is make a main sheet that will read data from one of these converted text files, copy the prices listed, put them into the other excel sheet, and then from there I can make it show me where the cheapest prices are and such.
