Smile Auto populate using drop down

I have a databse of information on homes. i.e square footage, bedroom count bathroom count etc....

I would like to on another worksheet be able to have a drop down list that lets me select one of the homes by address, then when a particualr address is selcted the rest of that same sheet is auto populated with the sq footage bedroom count etc.. for that house.

I know how to create a drop down list using forms and I know how to have the selected address populate to a cell.
What I dont know how to do is have the remaining information populate to other designated cells.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

perhaps there is a simpler way to achieve same result, the goal is to be able to choose a particular property and then have cells populate with that same propertys information.

    Thanks in advance

    Bill

I think it will be better to attach a sample file with some sample data and guide line to explain what exactly you required .......

Talking Re: Auto populate using drop down

Thanks for your help, the video on pivot tables led me to a video on table arrays and data validation list boxes. which solved the problem very easily.

I never used data validation list boxes before, I always use the list boxes created in forms or control toolbox

The data validation ones are much easier
