Entia non sunt multiplicanda sine necessitate
Don't know why it's in 2 places but there's also a "Gridlines" option on the "View" tab, under "Show/Hide"
Thanks for the reply from both you guys, but unfortunatley both answers haven't helped. The boxes marked "GRIDLINES" are ticked in both places! If anybody else has any other suggestions I would appreciate the help.
Gridlines will only appear if the cells have no fill. Clear the fill.
Thanks again, but still no joy! I tried a repair installation as well but the work sheets still appear blank. Anymore idea's would be appreciated....
Check the colour being used for gridlines
Office button > Excel Options > Advanced > Display setting for workbook > Gridline colour.
If that's not it you may want to post a workbook.
Thanks guys for all your help. Problem has been resolved. The problem was with a 22" lcd monitor that the computor is connected to. The monitor has 4 modes, Game, Text, Movie and Standard mode. The kids used the computor to play high graphic games and must have changed the settings on the monitor. If the monitor is not set on standard mode the Gridlines in excel for some reason dissapear.
