Question calculate regular earnings seperate from OT

    RE Excel 2007
I'm looking for a formula to calculate only the regular rate of pay for 8 hours or less. If the hours worked is more than 8, I'd like only the pay for 8 to be calculated. (The overtime hours and pay will show in other colums and I've figured them out)
EX: column a is 12 hours worked, b is regular rate $10.00, c is regular earnings...Need formula
    Thanks for any help!

    I would think:

    =MIN(A1 * B1, 8 * B1)
