    Dragging cells that are non-consecutive

    Hi,

My question relates to trend growth for excel cells. For example, i want to isolate certain results that all appear in the same row but different columns, specifically 9 columns apart. Is there a quick way to drag this? I want to be able to return the following trend growth in consecutive cells without having to do it all manually. (e.g. =F17, =o17, =X17)

    Thanks,

    James

No, you can't drag a non-contiguous selection. You'll notice the drag handle goes away.

I'm not sure if this is what you're wanting, but try this:

Where A11 is the number associated with the column you want. (It's a terrible description... I know... )

    I've attached an example spreadsheet.

    I hope this helps!
