Excel 2007 : Can't delete cells after deleting data connections

I have a spreadsheet where the data was imported from a database. I have deleted the connection to the database but now I want to delete some of the cells. However, it won't let me. It let's me change the the contents of the cells but not delete them.

Any advice?

Hi Eiolon,

I use data connections quite often, and don't experience this issue. Are you sure the worksheet isn't protected? Even with protection on, depending on how it was setup, you may be able to edit cells but not delete cells/rows/columns.
