Using Excel 2003 workbooks in Excel 2007, Incompatibilities

I have big (100 MB) workbooks which are loaded with tens of embedded charts, most of which are customized and all of which fit into small spaces right above or below the tables containing their data. The charts are not locked so that users can manually enlarge or decrease the range of data represented by using the "handles" on the data areas which are highlighted when the charts are selected. In 2003 the charts can be selected and printed as a preview or hard copy at which time they are automatically resized to fit the preview screen.
When I try the same thing using the 2003 workbooks in Excel 2007 the preview is the same size and shape of the embedded chart. The only way I can get the preview or th eprinted copy to look as desired is to resize the charts where they are embedded which would require a lot of changes in my sheets. I of course can magnify the charts in the print preview but then the fonts grow out of proportion and it is a mess.
I have had the same results on two different computers.
    Any ideas?

I know it has been a while, but I'm wondering if you ever found a solution to your problem. I'm having the same problem, and would appreciate learning from your experience.
