    How to save Cell style in standard template

    Hi,

    How can I make my own custom styles to always show in the cell style selection, when opening a new excel file in Excel 2007?

    Add your styles to a new blank workbook, then save that workbook as a template in your XLSTART directory.

    i've saved my file "My styles.xltx" in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\XLSTART

    However when I open Excel, I can't see my styles..

    Sorry, forgot to mention that it needs to be called Book.xltx
